Racing Gears Advance Review (XBOX)

Racing Gears Advance. The game is suited by the name, you might think, and somehow you are right, in a small way. Yes, racing gears advance sounds exactly as what it might have in store for you. But somehow all that is overlooked in this game. The gameplay and the cool cars of the game will change your opinion about the game in seconds. This is not like one of those games which have the worst handling, and are all about racing mini coopers on off road tracks. Neither is this a Burnout 3 game.
One of the best things about this game is the cars that you get and their special abilities. They are not Volkswagons or mini coopers but proper racing cars. You can choose to be one of 12 awsome cars such as the Chevrolet Corvette Coupe or the Dodge Viper GTS or even a Hummer. But dont be fooled into thinking that cars like the Hummer are slow just because they are not actually meant for racing, because each car has it's unique special weapon. Whether its to paralize enemies or steal money from other drivers, you will never get bored of the specials.
With each character you have to take on the challenge of racing through 25 different tracks spread out in 5 different circuits. At first the tracks may seem pretty easy, but as you proceed onto harder circuits the tracks get very hard and it will take you some time to master the circuits and all their shorcuts. In each circuit you have to get the first place cup in order to unlock the next. If you come something like second you will unlock a new weapon for your character but not the next circuit. The only part of this that may seem boring is that you have to complete all 25 tracks with each and every character. But the racing itself is fun so you will never get bored.
Every time you race you win prize money and it increases as you do the herder circuits. You would use your prize money to boost your engines or get better wheels naturaly, but there is more that you can do. You can buy different weapons for your cars. These can be very helpful in tight situations. You can only get new weapons however if you come at least second in a whole circuit. There are many to unlock, and can give you great advantages in races.

Sound 7/10 - Pretty good sounds but can get a little bit repetitive

Gameplay 8/10 - The cars handle great once you get used to it. The drifting is quite helpful.

Graphics 9/10 - Pretty sleek for the GBA. The 3D enviroments are great and always have something to offer.

Value 8/10 - There is alot of replay value in this game and you will enjoy every moment of it.

Final Score 7.9/10

I agree, I think that Racing Gears Advance is a fun game, but I think you give it too much praise!
I would give it a 7/10 for a gameboy advance game.
