"Most people think time is like a river that flows swift and sure in one direction. But I have seen the face of time and I can tell you they are wrong. Time is an ocean in a storm. You may wonder who I am and why I say this. Sit down and I will tell you a tale like none which you have ever heard." The Prince said as he retold his tale. This is where the game starts off. You are the Prince of Persia and are in a war. You start off having to do the simplest things like jumping up on a ledge, or jumping across gaps, but later on in the game you will have to run along walls, then push yourself off to grab onto a pole, and swing from one to another to get to some far away place. This game is unlike any other; it is a platformer and and an action adventure in one, and that is what makes it so good. The only let down is that there is a limited amount of fighting moves available for the Prince to use while in battle. But this idea is expanded, engaging your brain to it's limits. Not all enemies are easy to kill and later on in the game you will encounter enemies who wil stop you from jumping over them and hitting them, and even block most of your hits. After playing the game for about twenty minutes you will encounter the dagger of time and this is where the fun starts. The first ability that you gain from the dagger is the 'recall'. This allows you to rewind time for up to ten seconds. This may not seem like much but if you have to get past an obstical and you get hit and die, then you can just pull L and rewind time back to the point where you can safely restart the trick. You can gain new abilities like the rebound attack or the slow down time special. If you have colected enough sand from enemies and sand clouds you will eventually unlock the ultimate ability - to stop time completely. Once activated all you have to do is double press X and the Prince will rush towards the nearest enemy and absorb it's sands of time. The game itself is very spacially aware because if you come by some stairs or a corridor, it will take you ages sometimes to get to the end. I really makes you feel as though you have gone through so many places and explored so much throughout the game. All in all this is a unique and original game that will have you coming back for more, and if you complete it you will unlock Prince of Persia 1 which was the first ever Prince of Persia game.
Sound 9/10 - The middle-eastern style music is perfect for this game as it creates atmosphere.
Gameplay 9/10 - Very unique and very fun. The puzzles never get boring and are always challenging.
Graphics 8/10 - The cut scenes may look abit cartoony but other wise the enviroments are very large and always different.
Value 8/10 - Once you have completed the main game you will unlock the first ever Prince of Persia game and thats about it, but you will be very tempted to go over the whole game again.
Final Score 9.0/10

Who the hell are you REVAN-THEDARKONE! What kind of a screwed up name is that!!!! I've never even heard of anyone called Revan, let alone the dark one
Get a life!
OI! Give the guy a break! I happen to know who Revan is, he is awesome (kotor)! If anyone should get a life you should!
Who the hell is Revan!!!! WTF are you on about ********************!
I'm going to go and ask a load of my mates if any of them have ever heard of Revan, and I'll post a comment in aproximately 4.3 minutes after I've asked them all over multi chat-room conferences!
They got back to me a bit sooner than I estimated but whatever!
At last count 48 of my friends did not know who Revan is.
43 of them are game addicts but they probably have more of a social life than you and the creator of this blog... I bet your bum chums with him, either that or you are him (could be a her, but I doubt that) and you are sad enough to post comments on your own sight!
